Happy Holidays

as we nestle by our tree, inhaling the faint smell of hot plastic, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish my three blog followers a happy holiday. I hope you all have been as blessed as we were in 2010 and your road is as happy as ours.

Sadly

CJ broke her leg. In 3, count 'em, 3 places. So we're down but not out. The good news is: IT WAS HER LEFT FOOT!!! Yes - she CAN drive. So the road trips continue. Mostly casinos (wheelchair friendly, you know)but we're cruisin'

Wild Wild West

Everything about our trip was cool. Everything. We drove Route 66 and the National Road to New Mexico where we picked up Cady. Cady brought a special joy to the trip.

We went to every National Park in the world. Spent a long weekend gambling in Vegas. Caught the rodeo in Dodge City and drove home. 7000 miles give or take. 6 weeks of road trip heaven.

Sorry, we didn't keep up with our blog but we had a lot on our plates. It might not have been the best idea to bring Buddy.

Quitting Tent Camping

I don't know. Maybe it's the mattress going flat. Or the struggle to emerge from the cocoon to you know what. Regardless we quit. Wanna a tent, sleeping bags and air mattress? - left 'em at Zion National Park. RIP we got the Van!
